Mermaid Treasures 2
Got snap-happy with a borrowed digital camera the other day and photographed many of the treasures in my mermaid room. Here's another – my sister spotted this girl in an antique shop a couple of years ago and bought her for me for Christmas. The mermaid is brown and looks like statuary except she is made from some kind of poly-plasticy substance which makes it easy for me to tote her around. She came with a slate that fits in her hands so I am presuming she was originally created for a restaurant and the slate served as the blackboard menu. I am going to hazard a guess and say it was a seafood restaurant. Anyway, here are a few pics of her taken from several angles. I love the sensuous curves to her back and tail.
